The Migration Research Unit (MRU) is based in the Department of Geography at University College London (UCL). Its purpose is to carry out high quality research, independently or in collaboration with others, designed to increase knowledge and understanding of international population migration issues. To contribute to knowledge on patterns and trends in migration at the national, European and global levels;
